Cancelling an order
So, you’ve placed orders on Meesho but seem to be second-guessing yourself? In the world of online purchasing, “how to cancel a purchase” is a commonly requested question. People are frequently confused by the variety of products available on internet platforms and click the “purchase” button. However, there are a variety of reasons why a consumer might desire or need to cancel an order. I’m assuming you’re one of them.
To cancel an order in Meesho, follow these steps:
Step 1: Launch the Meesho app.
Step 2: Select ‘Orders’ from the drop-down menu. Five symbols (with their names beneath them) show at the bottom of the screen when you first open the app. The word ‘Orders’ appears in the middle. People have difficulty cancelling orders due to a lack of understanding of the programme (app) layout.
Step 3: Select your completed order. Several contents appear when the ‘Orders’ window opens. To cancel an order, click the order underneath the date you want to change.
Step 4: Select ‘Cancel Order’ from the drop-down menu. The “ORDER DETAILS” window appears after you click the order. The order tracking is visible, and below it is the ‘Cancel Order’ option.
Step 5: Select the reason for cancellation The option to ‘Cancel Order’ brings up the ‘SELECT REASON’ window. ‘Select reason for cancellation’ is located beneath ‘Product Details.’ That button should be pressed. On the screen, you’ll see a number of alternatives. Pick your favourite reason.
Step 6: Describe the Cause (Optional) A message box is provided underneath the reason selection option, in that you can clarify and offer an explanation for cancellation. It is, however, optional. You can therefore skip this step if you like.
Step 7: Select ‘CANCEL PRODUCT’ from the drop-down menu. After you’ve decided on a reason, select the ‘CANCEL PRODUCT’ option. It appears in a pink box there at bottom of the screen. The order cancellation process is now complete, and the order has been cancelled. The ‘ORDER DETAILS’ box will open once you select the ‘CANCEL PRODUCT’ option.
The text ‘Cancelled’ will appear in the ‘Order Tracking’ section, with something like a red dot on the left side. This will confirm your order cancellation.
What if the product is already out for shipping?
The order is out for shipping and about to be delivered to your home, but you wish to cancel it. You should be aware that you can no longer prevent the order from being delivered to your door. All you could do is politely decline the delivery boy’s order and request them to return it.
